Vishwakarma University, Pune (VU), established in 2017 under the Maharashtra Government Act, is a State Private University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) program at VU is designed to foster high-quality research in cutting-edge fields under the mentorship of esteemed faculty members.

1. Internet of Things (IoT):
   • Focus on innovative farming methods to address challenges from population growth and climate change.
   • Develop IoT-based solutions for remote health monitoring and emergency notification systems.
   • Explore integration of communications, control, and information processing across navigation and transportation systems.
2. Renewable Energy (Green Energy):
   • Research renewable technologies and green power solutions, particularly for rural and remote areas.
3. Security:
   • Investigate cloud security issues, auditing systems, network security, mobile security, and web security challenges.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning:
   • Research in Deep Learning, Machine learning and artificial Intelligence.
   • Applied research in the AI & ML domain

   • Marketing Management
   • General Management
   • Strategy

To be eligible for the Vishwakarma University PDF program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Ph.D. Degree: Applicants must have successfully completed their Ph.D. in Management or Science and Technology faculty from recognized (UGC) Indian or foreign university.
• Publications: At least two articles published in Scopus or Web of Science- indexed journals.

2. PDF Research Proposal (maximum 10 pages)
3. Educational Documents (scanned copies of PhD, PG, UG degree)
4. Front Pages of Research Publications (scanned copies)
5. Passport Size Photograph
6. Identity Proof (Passport or Aadhaar Card)

1. The selection will be done through the selection committee appointed by the Vice Chancellor.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview , during which they will present their research proposal.
3. Based on the interview and proposal, candidates will be selected for admission to the PDF certificate program.
4. Admission will be granted by the Admission Section of VU after verifying the documents submitted under the Eligibility Section.
5. Upon payment of the applicable fees, the Research and Development Cell will issue the official PDF admission letter to the scholar.

• Fees : ₹1,35,000/-
• Duration : The duration of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship shall be for a minimum of 01 year (12 Months) to a maximum of 02 years.
• Fellowship may be in the form of sponsorship for research article publication (if any) and not a monthly stipend.

1. Publish at least two Web of Science or Scopus-indexed articles (Q1 to Q3) OR Patent filling with One Web of Science or Scopus-indexed article (Q1 to Q3) OR a solution to industry led problem with One Web of Science or Scopus-indexed article (Q1 to Q3) OR a solution to industry led problem with research grants of Rs. 2 Lakh.
2. Deliver a research presentation to a committee at the end of the fellowship period.
3. PDF Certificate will be issued within two weeks from the Research and Development Cell after successful completion of the presentation.
