Research Area Summary:
My research is based on the Income of farmers in Western Maharashtra,the Farmer is faced with two risks Production side and Marketing side. Production side risk is natural the farmer overproduces or under produces the yield based on Nature. If he overproduces the market Prices plummets. What are the current ways by which the farmers are selling the Goods? and what are the bottlenecks in selling the goods is described in this research.APMC,Weekly Bazaar and Mandis are taken into consideration.
