Research Area Summary:
As an Assistant Professor in Marketing, my research interests span across the intersections of food, consumer behavior, and educational methodologies. I focus on understanding how marketing strategies influence consumer decisions, particularly in the context of food and related industries. My work explores the evolving dynamics of consumer behavior, including factors like health consciousness, sustainability, and ethical consumption, and how these trends impact marketing approaches.Additionally, I have a keen interest in pedagogical advancements in education. I research learner-centered teaching methods, particularly in marketing education, to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. I have explored innovative strategies such as the flipped classroom model and experiential learning to foster more interactive, practical learning environments. This dual focus on marketing and education allows me to contribute to both academic scholarship and practical teaching methodologies that equip future professionals with essential skills.Through my research, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, ensuring that insights into consumer behavior can directly inform marketing strategies in food industries and enhance teaching practices in business education.
